Scaling Blockchain for Enterprise Energy Solutions
Energy Web is a global nonprofit organisation dedicated to accelerating the energy transition through open-source software.
Its has collaborated with major global companies to develop digital solutions that scale markets for various use cases, all aimed at facilitating the green energy transition.
Energy Web needed a Web3 partner that could provide enterprise-grade, production-ready, flexible blockchain infrastructure to more efficiently and effectively service its clients and achieve its goal of decarbonising the grid.

Accelerating the Energy Transition with Web3
The Aventus and Energy Web teams collaborated to create Energy Web X: a new decentralised technology that allows Energy Web and its ecosystem of partners, including Shell, EDF and PayPal among others, to benefit from the enhanced scalability, speed, interoperability and security of Web3.
Aventus also deployed instances of their proprietary technology for Energy Web to allow them to independently govern its own transparent and accessible blockchain infrastructure.
The solution offers Energy Web enhanced scalability, speed, interoperability and security via a production-ready, customised solution for its unique needs and goals.

The Aventus Benefit
The partnership enabled Energy Web to launch their own independently governed blockchain infrastructure that has connected to three in-production enterprise solutions to date, including one in partnership with PayPal, and many more to come within the first year.
