The Aventus Network belongs to a new generation of composable blockchain networks built with the scalability and interoperability needed for real-world use cases, including asset tokenization and blockchain apps. It is capable of high transaction throughput, low and predictable transaction costs, and provides deterministic finality.


The network currently operates as a Polkadot parachain with continued interoperability with Ethereum, and is used by several production applications.


AVT is the token that powers the Aventus Network. There is a total supply of 10.6 million AVT, with approximately 1.3 million AVT held in community treasury at time of writing.

Transaction Fees

Users pay AVT as fees for processing their transactions on the Aventus Network. These fees are often low and predictable.

Security

Collators on Aventus author new blocks and execute transactions. To discourage malicious behaviour, collators stake AVT upon joining the network. Any attempts to harm the network result in direct consequences for the collator.

Incentivised Staking

AVT token holders can stake their tokens via the liquidity mining program on Uniswap, and earn rewards for doing so.

Governance

AVT tokens are used in voting in governance proposals that determine major decisions to be made for the Aventus Network. The voting power of AVT holders is proportional to the amount of AVT they hold, ensuring a fair and representative governance system.

Who is Eligible to Become an Aventus Ambassador?

Anyone who is:

  • Passionate about blockchain and Aventus
  • Active on social media and has a strong online presence
  • A strong communicator
  • Enthusiastic about working with the core
  • Aventus team and eager to network with other community members
  • Motivated to impact the growth of the Aventus Network

All backgrounds, perspectives, and regions are welcome.

You don’t have to be all this to be a great fit. As long as you care about blockchain, Aventus, and want to build a strong and long-lasting community, you’ll be welcome.

Ambassador Responsibilities

There’s no one-size-fits-all description for an Aventus Ambassador, but here are some examples:

  • Create compelling content (social media content, blog posts, videos)
  • Promote and engage with Aventus on personal social media channels (Twitter, Telegram, Discord)
  • Amplify Aventus events and announcements
  • Translate content into languages other than English
  • Organise and attend IRL and virtual events including meetups, webinars, and AMAs
  • Participate in discussions on community platforms (Twitter, Telegram, and Discord)
  • Help moderate the community and onboard newcomers
  • Represent Aventus in your region
  • Identify partnerships and opportunities for the Aventus ecosystem
