Since 2017, Aventus has been working towards one clear goal: to bring enterprises into Web3 while creating real, long-term value for AVT holders. Together, we’ve built the foundations — from our ICO in 2017 and beginnings as a ticketing platform, to delivering enterprise-grade blockchain solutions, to joining the Polkadot ecosystem. Each step has prepared us for scale.
Now, with Aventus Cloud, we’re ready to take that leap. Aventus Cloud represents the next step in our journey: a vision that has been in development for some time, designed to make Aventus scalable, sustainable, and adoption-driven. It represents the natural evolution of everything we’ve built to date: the bridge between enterprise adoption and AVT value. Whether this vision becomes reality is a decision we’ll make together.
What is Aventus Cloud?
Aventus Cloud is the system that allows Aventus to scale from individual projects into a full, interconnected ecosystem. At its core, it does three things: lets enterprises launch their own blockchains (appchains), runs those appchains on a network of nodes, and channels value back into AVT through node fees and the community treasury.
Here’s how it works:
- Appchains: Any enterprise can create its own blockchain on Aventus Cloud — tailored to its needs, with its own token and community. Because these appchains plug into Aventus (and Polkadot), they gain security, scalability, and interoperability from day one.
- Nodes: A decentralised network of Aventus Cloud nodes process the transactions of every appchain (as well as transactions on the Aventus mainnet) and keep the network secure. Appchains can also sell their own nodes to their communities, hosted decentrally on Aventus Cloud.
- Fees and Rewards: Each appchain pays fees to operate. What’s more, 5% of all hosted appchain node returns are shared with Aventus node operators, so as adoption grows, the value of operating Aventus nodes increases.
- Treasury: After the first tranche, Aventus nodes can only be purchased in AVT, creating consistent token demand. Proceeds from node sales flow directly into the Aventus Community Treasury, which can then provide AVT grants to fund new appchains and enterprise use cases.
This creates a self-reinforcing loop: more appchains → more node activity and fees → stronger treasury → more grants and adoption → more demand for AVT.
What Are Nodes and Why Do They Matter?
You can think of nodes as the servers or computers that keep blockchains running.
In practical terms, nodes are what give enterprises the confidence to build on Aventus. They make sure transactions can’t be tampered with, downtime is minimised, and activity across appchains is verified by a decentralised network rather than a single central authority.
In Aventus Cloud, nodes are more than just technical infrastructure — they are the growth engine. Every enterprise that launches an appchain relies on these nodes to function. That means every transaction, every interaction, every piece of adoption flows through the node network.
For AVT holders, this is powerful. Nodes make scaling adoption sustainable. They allow Aventus Cloud to grow continuously, not just through one-off deals. And because they tie directly into the AVT economy, every new node and every new appchain strengthens demand for the token.
The Benefits for AVT Holders
Aventus Cloud turns AVT into a true utility token at scale. Instead of value being tied to speculation or individual partnerships, it becomes the backbone of a growing ecosystem. Each enterprise that launches an appchain drives more transactions through the system, deepening the role of AVT.
And this model compounds over time. One appchain may bring meaningful usage, but dozens of appchains working in parallel create a network effect — where every new business adds momentum to those already live. For token holders, this means that adoption no longer grows linearly; it accelerates over time.
Importantly, governance remains in the hands of the community. As Aventus Cloud expands, AVT holders will continue to decide how the ecosystem evolves and how treasury resources are deployed. Far from reducing the role of the community, Aventus Cloud makes it more central. The more adoption the network attracts, the more weight sits behind community decisions.
Why Change, and Why Now?
Up to this point, Aventus has grown through individual partnerships and bespoke enterprise projects. These have proven the strength of our technology, but they have also revealed the limits of this approach. Adoption cannot scale if every new use case requires custom development from the ground up.
At the same time, the market around us is changing. Enterprises across industries are no longer asking if they should engage with Web3, but how. They want to explore tokenization, loyalty programmes, prediction markets and more — yet few have the resources or expertise to build and maintain their own blockchains.
This is the opening for Aventus Cloud. By providing a framework where enterprises can launch their own dedicated blockchain — an appchain — in days rather than months, we remove the barriers to entry. Businesses get speed, security and scalability, while every appchain launched flows back into Aventus and drives utility for AVT.
In short: the need is urgent, the timing is right, and Aventus is uniquely positioned to meet this demand.
A Turning Point for Aventus
What makes Aventus Cloud so significant is that it captures the best of timing, positioning, and impact. Timing matters because enterprises are exploring blockchain now, not five years from now. Positioning matters because Aventus has already built credibility, delivering enterprise solutions and integrating with Polkadot. And impact matters because Aventus Cloud is not another one-off initiative — it is a scalable engine designed to compound growth and token utility with every new client onboarded.
This is why Aventus Cloud is not just an upgrade. It is the natural next step in the Aventus journey: moving from potential to delivery, from individual projects to ecosystem scale, from patient waiting to real adoption.
Your Role in the Future
None of this happens automatically. Aventus Cloud is a proposal that must be approved by the community. By voting in favour, you are choosing to unlock scalable adoption, create lasting utility for AVT, and strengthen your role in governance.
What you can do in the meantime:
- Read the lite paper, which outlines the vision for Aventus Cloud and the entire Aventus ecosystem in detail.
- Read the draft governance proposal and comment, engage, ask questions to help us shape this to best serve our ecosystem and community.
- Vote on the proposal when it goes live – voting will open on Thursday 25th September, and run for one week. We encourage every holder to make their voice heard.
For many of you, this journey started in 2017. You have remained loyal through ups and downs, and you have waited for Aventus to have its breakthrough moment. Aventus Cloud is that moment.
It transforms Aventus into a scalable network where every new enterprise strengthens the token you hold. And it is your decision whether we take this step together.
