Aventus is proud to announce that our prediction market technology, which powers the Truth Network and high-profile applications like SI Predict by Galactic Markets, has successfully passed a comprehensive third-party security audit and penetration test conducted by leading blockchain security firm Hacken.

This clean bill of health reinforces the robustness and reliability of our technology stack and underscores our commitment to building secure, scalable, and enterprise-ready Web3 infrastructure.

Why Security Matters for Prediction Markets

Prediction markets — especially those deployed on decentralised infrastructure — rely on trust. Participants stake real value based on future outcomes. Any vulnerabilities in smart contracts, node software, or bridging logic can lead to manipulation, loss of funds, or reputational damage.

That’s why we subjected our entire prediction market stack — including both the smart contracts and the Truth Network node implementation — to an independent, in-depth security review and penetration testing process.

About the Security Audit

Hacken, one of the most respected blockchain cybersecurity firms in the industry, conducted a full security audit and assessment, including:

Smart contract review (Solidity): focusing on token contracts, bridge logic, and gasless transfer mechanisms.

Penetration testing: mimicking real-world attack vectors to test for vulnerabilities in the node software and network stack.

Code quality assessment: evaluating best practices, maintainability, and logic correctness.

Operational risk analysis: identifying potential risks in cross-chain communication and deployment pipelines.

The outcome? No critical vulnerabilities were found, and all minor issues were either addressed or mitigated based on Hacken’s recommendations.

“Security is absolutely essential to the success and credibility of decentralized prediction markets. This security audit gives developers, partners, and users the confidence they need to build and engage with the ecosystem. It’s another step forward in our mission to bring secure, real-world utility to Web3.”

Alan Vey, Founder, Aventus

What This Means for Builders and Partners

Security is often the reason enterprises hesitate to adopt Web3 solutions. With this third-party audit:

  • Developers can build confidently on top of the Truth Network, knowing the foundations are solid.

  • Partners and enterprises can trust the infrastructure powering SI Predict and future applications.

  • Token holders and users can engage with the ecosystem with greater confidence.

This is especially important now that our prediction market technology has been fully open sourced, enabling anyone to explore, audit, and extend the codebase for their own use cases.

“We designed this architecture to be both modular and secure from day one. Having Hacken confirm the strength of our implementation is a key validation of our engineering approach.”

Andrey Brozhko, Chief Product & Technology Officer, Aventus

Our Commitment Going Forward

We view this audit not as the finish line, but as a milestone in an ongoing process. Security is never “done” — we’ll continue to follow best practices, run additional reviews before major releases, and encourage the open source community to engage in responsible disclosure and code review.

In addition, we’ll be exploring formal verification tools and bug bounty programs in the near future to further harden the ecosystem.
