Let’s get straight to it…

Aventus CEO, Alan Vey has been named to the Forbes 30 Under 30 list in Europe in the technology category

Everyone at Aventus would like to congratulate Alan on this achievement.

Alan has achieved it alongside Artos System co-founder Annika Monari for solving problems in live entertainment event ticketing with blockchain.

Alan Vey’s Thought Leadership Published in Tech Radar — Ethereum: A Victim Of Its Own Success

Hot off the press from this very afternoon, Alan’s thoughts on Ethereum have been published by popular tech website, Tech Radar.

In the article, Alan makes the case that, despite its place as one of the great innovations of the 21st century, Ethereum has become a victim of its own success with serious scalability issues.

As a result, demand outstrips supply and transaction fees are prohibitively expensive.

It is these very issues that Aventus helps remedy…

“Layer 2 solutions… are solutions designed to solve issues with stock Ethereum by handling transactions off the main Ethereum chain while still taking advantage of the many benefits it has to offer. These have the capability to solve many of the problems with Ethereum — from the gas fees through to speed and scalability.”

AvN transaction volume looks set to double with two new signed partnership agreements set for announcement

Two weeks ago in the Aventus update we announced a deal with Live Nation France and FanDragon to launch TixTo.Me — a new digital entertainment wallet to combat ticket touts.

TixTo.Me will initially deliver 200,000 tickets a year directly to fans in France via the Aventus Network with potential scope for international expansion thereafter.

That announcement was picked up in various leading publications including BloombergYahoo! NewsMarket WatchMorningstar, and more besides.

That partnership adds to our current transaction volume from partners like cashback APP and Vowcurrency.

In terms of transaction volume, however, our next deal is larger by an order of magnitude, more than doubling our 8,5m historical transactions overnight.

In the coming week, we expect to publicly announce a partnership that will bring more than 10m historical transactions to the Aventus Network.

That means greater traction and greater transaction fees for Aventus Validators, which is why…

We are extending the Validator Registration Program until the end of June to let new AVT holders participate

Recent partnership traction following Aventus new strategic direction has been rapid.

An increase in transaction volume is good news for everybody, and we want to give everyone who wants it a chance to participate in the Validator Registration Program and earn their share of transaction fees too.

For that reason, we have decided to keep the Validator Registration Program open until the end of June or until 100% full — whichever is first.

To stake and begin earning your share, you can associate your AVT to any non-full node by first registering at https://www.aventus.io/products/.

If you don’t currently own AVT, you can find it available at Mercatox, Uniswap, and HitBTC.

Highlights from recent AMA (Ask Me Anything)
events with Alan Vey

In the past few weeks, we have begun an external AMA campaign on Telegram to spread the Aventus message to captive blockchain and cryptocurrency audiences.

Telegram is the medium of choice for the majority of those in the blockchain world and there are many groups with thousands or even tens of thousands of members that love to hear from projects and ask the founders questions.

Alan Vey has participated in two AMAs now, with the third taking place today, and more to come in the near future.

Below are some highlights of the questions and answers.

Q: Can you tell us more about the number of transactions per month that you expect in 3, 6 and 12 months?

A: Alan: Ok so within:

– 3 months I expect us to have processed about 15m transactions

– 6 months we are on track to be at 1m new transactions a month sustainably

– 12 months is just too far in the future, our capacity is 5bn transactions a month, I hope to at very period of maximal load to get close to 2,000 transactions per second

Q: What was the biggest milestone of your project to date? What is the plan for the future? Please can you share about your partnerships for success? How can your project be successful so quickly?

A: The biggest milestone so far is having launched the network in production after all the private testing and having the network stable so we are now onboarding clients without problems.

The future plan for this year is marketing so people can see how solid our tech is and the huge numbers we are already processing compared to any competitors in layer 2, and to get more exchange listings to make the purchase of AVT easier for our partners sending transactions and paying fees to the validators.

We have some big transition clients (like Live Nation) and some more DeFI ones (like vowcurrency.com).

We can implement any business logic so we are not getting sales teams set to hit our already established sectors (live entertainment, loyalty, supply chains and video games) and I am working on fleshing out new use cases.
